The mission of Basement Cabaret is to support the development of weirder, richer, funnier performance pieces by DMV artists. We do this by producing a show every two months and holding regular workshops. We’re a welcoming stage for artists who are looking to try new things.

• Performers are paid a crisp $20.
• Your piece should be max 12 minutes (the best story you’ll ever tell will be 6 minutes long, trust me). If you’re working on something special that’s longer, let me know and we can find a place for it.
